Prep is the whole job
Every failed garage floor we get called out to look at failed for the same reason: somebody skipped the grinder. Acid etching and pressure washing do not open the surface of a hard-troweled slab, so the coating sits on top of the concrete instead of keying into it. Add 110-degree pavement and a set of hot tires and it comes up in sheets.
Our prep is mechanical, measured, and the same on every job regardless of how the floor looks when we walk in.

Garage floor coating questions
Epoxy or polyaspartic for a Tucson garage?
Polyaspartic for most people here. It cures faster, tolerates a wider temperature window during install, and holds its color under UV. Epoxy is still a solid value as a basecoat and we use it that way — the difference shows up in the topcoat.
What is hot-tire pickup?
Tires get hot on Tucson asphalt, expand, and then grab a floor coating as they cool. Weakly bonded coatings lift off in patches shaped like your tread. Proper mechanical profiling plus the right resin chemistry is what prevents it.
How long until I can park on it?
Foot traffic the same evening, vehicles at about 24 hours. We give you the exact window before we leave.
Do I need to empty the garage?
Yes — the floor has to be clear before we grind. Most homeowners move things to the driveway the night before. We can talk through options at the estimate if that is a problem.
